Janice Matz |
|
| Having worked in the travel industry for 23 years, Janice Matz has visited many exotic destinations around the world. Her visits to China and India were especially informative, and she is now planning a cruise to Vietnam for later this year. Travel in Europe remains a favorite. She and her husband have done numerous driving trips through Western Europe, and many in France and Italy. These trips allow her to gain intimate knowledge about hotels, restaurants, guides, and local customs and events, which she is then able to share with her clients.
As Janice states : “I believe there are several qualities that make a good travel agent. One is to listen to your clients – it’s their trip, not yours. The second is being familiar with the destination, and the third is paying attention to each and every detail.”

Helen Barnett |
|
| The love of history, the humanities, and far-away places, has been an important part of Helen Barnett’s life.
She realized her dream of travel when she and her husband embarked on adventures to South Africa, East Africa, India, the Far East, South America, South Pacific, and most European countries.
Her love of France and everything French, including Napoleon, has led to many trips to France and especially to Paris.
Her cruise knowledge is varied, mostly involved with Silversea Cruises because of the positive response from passengers and her own sailing experience with them.
She has enjoyed the privilege of long-term relationships with clients because she sees each trip as an important event for the people making those plans.
She loves what she does. And she hopes it shows! |

Jack Hotaling |
|
| Three destinations stand out in Jack’s memory as extremely interesting, and experiences he enjoys sharing with his clients. The first is his visit toThailand, Cambodia and Vietnam – especially the elephant ride in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the ruins of Angor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia and the beauty of China Beach and the bustle of Hanoi, in Vietnam. The second is climbing the Great Wall and viewing the awesome Terra Cotta Warriors in China. The third was the view from a 12th century Italian Fattoria (a farm that had been transformed into a guest apartment hotel) atop a hill in Tuscany among the olive groves and vineyards. Jack specializes in careful planning of foreign personal travel, and in most instances, probably has been there. He has traveled to almost all of the capitols of Europe and plans soon to be able to indicate that he has been to “all” of them. Nothing pleases him more than to sit down with clients and help them plan their trip of a lifetime. |
